Sex addiction and marriage betrayal. The world is rampant with such despair. Most if not all addictions are caused by a need to cope with inner wounds created in our family of origin or other external sources that breed pain and fear into our lives.
Betrayal trauma is a direct result of violently intersecting with the one who is trying in their own strength to manage all of their pain using destructive behaviors. While the husband, primarily is keeping a deep focus on himself and his own pain he may not even realize the effect it has on the woman he has chosen to love, cherish and honor. Healing requires space for both husband and wife to face their own journeys together with honesty, courage, and support. At this intensive, each of you will step into an environment of safety, guidance, and care. While some sessions will be shared as a couple, there will also be times set apart for husbands and wives separately. These moments are designed to help you do the emotional work you both need, while still moving toward one another in hope and restoration.
|
Individual sessions will require a "deep dive" even beyond the "low hanging fruit" of the addiction and betrayal. It will take two brave souls seeking out even past pain that had nothing to do with the other person. That is where true healing lies.

FOR THE WIFE:
If you are a wife carrying the weight of betrayal trauma, this intensive offers a space where your pain will be seen and validated. You will step into a peaceful environment designed to bring rest to your weary soul and to remind you that you are not alone. Through somatic healing and breathwork, you’ll learn tools to help regulate your body and emotions when triggers arise. You will also be gently guided through deeper work, exploring not only present pain but also past wounds — because trauma often layers itself onto earlier experiences. Throughout this journey, you’ll be supported by caring counselors who understand betrayal trauma, many of whom have walked this same difficult path themselves. |
You will also find solace in the presence of other women who, like you, are navigating their own stories of pain and healing. Together, you will discover hope, comfort, and a safe place to begin experiencing restoration.

|
FOR THE HUSBAND:
If you are a husband struggling with problematic sexual behaviors or sex and/or porn addiction, this intensive offers a safe place to face your story with honesty and courage. |
You will be guided through a deep exploration of your inner child — the wounded parts of you that have learned to cope by avoiding pain and turning to destructive behaviors. This process will help you uncover the roots of your struggle and open the way toward true healing.
Alongside this personal work, you will find the strength of brotherhood. Walking with other men who understand the weight of addiction, you will discover that you are not alone. Together, you will support one another through the challenges of facing deep pain, while holding on to the hope of restoration and freedom. |
|
FOR THE COUPLE:
As a couple attending the intensive, you will both learn to help each other through somatic work and breathwork. You will engage each other in healthy communication with some aids from scripture and other deep probing questions. You will be encouraged to share what you are learning as a part of the intensive in peaceful connection. Aside from the main meeting room, when husbands and wives do their separate sessions, you will be able to be in a completely different room or building and be able to express your deepest needs, concerns, and frustrations. You will be able to express any and all pent up emotions that need to be expressed. |
In short you will be allowed to do whatever is necessary to connect with a loving God who only wants you both to find the deep healing you need.
|
|
There will also be seasons of soaking worship where someone will play piano or guitar and simply worship as you journal, weep, lay on the floor, take a nap if you need or talk to a counselor. This is not a time for corporate worship. It is a time to reflect on what you have been learning and feeling. It will be a safe environment with no interruptions for as long as we are in that space.
